Sono state rese note ieri, mercoledì 21 dicembre, dall’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, le shortlist relative a dieci categorie della 95esima edizione degli Oscar: Lungometraggi documentari, Cortometraggi documentari, Lungometraggi internazionali, Trucco e acconciature, Colonna sonora originale, Canzone originale, Cortometraggio d’animazione, Cortometraggio live action, Effetti sonori e visivi. Nulla di fatto per Nostalgia di Mario Martone, mentre nella categoria cortometraggi troviamo Le pupille di Alice Rohrwacher. Ora, dal 12 al 17 gennaio 2023, si procederà alla votazione per le candidature, che saranno rese note martedì 24 gennaio, mentre la 95ma edizione degli Oscar si svolgerà  domenica 12 marzo 2023 al Dolby Theatre di Ovation Hollywood.
